The application was determined in about 15 months. The register records a refusal in September 2002 before the scheme progressed. Permission was ultimately granted on appeal in May 2003. The scheme has been operating for about 20 years. At that age, wind farms commonly become candidates for repowering or life extension — nothing in the register confirms such a plan here.
